Job Description

Our client is seeking a Quality Inspection Technician to join their team in a key role that ensures product quality and compliance with industry standards. This position requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a strong commitment to maintaining quality processes. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment and capable of handling some physically demanding tasks.

Location: Devens, MA

Pay Rate: $28 - $31/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts starting at 7 AM or 8 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct lab tests and document results for product validation.
  • Maintain calibration systems and ensure measuring devices are accurately tracked and maintained.
  • Review and validate documentation for accuracy and adherence to quality protocols.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
  • Support internal audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming materials.
  • Work in a cleanroom environment as needed (approximately 10% of the time).
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

  • Experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related role.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency with measurement tools and lab equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
